Whether you’re a first time parent, had an incredible doula at your last birth or navigated a challenging or traumatic birth(s) in the past, having a doula throughout your pregnancy & birth is beneficial to you & baby. A doula is shown to reduce cesaeran rates, minimize intervention measures (like pitocin), shorten labor & without a doubt, from a qualitative perspective, a doula improves the parent’s or parents’ birthing experience. I am here to guide you, coach you, support you & ensure a well thought out, safe + empowering birth experience for you.

I’m Allie Cuozzo.
I am a certified doula for home & hospital birth.
I support first time parents, high risk pregnancies, queer families, VBAC, cesaerean deliveries,
spanish speaking humans, single mamas, twins, breech babes,& people of all backgrounds, ethnicities & beliefs.
I am based in Medfield & travel up to ~80 miles.

Some of the ways I offer support: finding a hospital that aligns with your birth goals, connecting to local midwives, teaching hands-on comfort measures to use during birth & educating the birth partner (if there is one) on how to be activated & supportive during labor. I provide feedback during appointments with your OBGYN, share nutritional, supplemental & herbal considerations. I will get your body in the best position possible to birth your baby. Have you heard of Spinning Babies? Maternal position effects fetal position. I help people order breast pumps (if you live in MA, you’re eligible to receive one... thanks, ACA!), connect to community resources, answer phone calls at 5a for first trimester spotting, text you back when you have a question at any point in any trimester, coach people through early labor & tracking contractions, sort through the logistics of birth & make sure you have 100% clarity on where you need to go & how you’ll get there, bring nourishing things to labor like yummy protein & birth tea, share data-driven perspectives on induction rates, infection rates, what to do if your water breaks, & guide how to make decisions in labor. I am deeply passionate about being an active teammate in your birth + am well-versed in how to navigate the hospital system to receive the best care.

Choosing to work with me is $2,250.
$1,125 to secure space in the calendar.
$1,125 due at 37 weeks. For those onboarding 37 weeks onward, the deposit is the full amount.
