Mass Health Members Receive Perinatal Services
Learn more about your free access to prenatal, postpartum & birth support.
As of December 8th, 2023, Mass Health members have access to free doula services during pregnancy, labor and delivery, and postpartum (through 12 months following delivery). This care is inclusive of all pregnancy outcomes.
This is how I support Mass Health Members:
- 3 prenatal appointments (2 for 90min & 1 for 60min).

complete presence at birth whether that’s at home, hospital or the new (fingers crossed) birth center being planned for Boston in 2025. (I can also travel out to the Northhampton birth center, too.)
- 3 postpartum visits (2 for 90min & 1 for 60min).
Your insurance will be billed. See footnote for insurances I accept.
Some clarifications I’d like to mention:
1. If you’re reading this & already gave birth, you can enjoy the benefit of up to 8hrs of postpartum visits.
2. You can receive prenatal care if you are considering, have chosen or have had an abortion. An abortion is prenatal care.
3. Some or all of your prenatal visits can be virtual. Same with postpartum.
4. I can support you regardless of outcome. Postpartum care after a miscarriage is care you can receive.
